SCOTT BARNHOLT
DIRECTOR OF ARCHITECTURE
Scott has a multidisciplinary background that encompasses both architecture and urban planning. He originally moved to New York to pursue a graduate degree in planning, and subsequently served as a project manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation for three years. Collaborations with architects in this role prompted him to return to school to pursue a career in architecture. Upon graduation, Scott worked on a broad range of projects at firms including SGA, WRNS Studio, SOM and Arquitectonica.
Scott focuses on design and documentation for commercial, mixed-use, and life sciences commissions. He thrives on creative thinking and problem-solving, especially in relation to the development of concepts that work within a site’s constraints. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling abroad and also exploring neighborhoods closer to his home in Brooklyn.
