For the not-for-profit Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), G3 designed this 30,000 sq. ft. headquarters. The unusually narrow and long building footprint led to a solution where 9 different departments, of different sizes and different requirements were “strung out” along a central corridor running the length of the 400’ long building. A slot light fixture weaves the length of that corridor, turning down walls to mark events along the way. A large conference room across from a generous reception area establishes a restrained yet colorful and contemporary image. Other shared amenities such as lunchrooms, work rooms, and open collaborative spaces are spread at intervals and mixed with offices and open areas to create a seamless, flowing work relationship between individuals, departments, and the company overall.
